Conference application and registration: information reasonably required to assess your application and administer your registration and attendance at Showcase Scotland. The information requested will be explained to you during the application and registration process.
Payment: when you register and pay to attend Showcase Scotland, payment information is processed through Stripe. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
You may also provide information through the Website or by contacting us.

We use personal information to:
- administer the Showcase Scotland mailing list and send communications where permitted by law;
- assess and administer applications and registrations for Showcase Scotland;

- facilitate networking between delegates and artists where you have expressly permitted us to do so;

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew your consent.

We may share personal information with service providers that help us operate the Website, mailing list and conference registration.
Stripe processes payment information on our behalf when you pay for your conference registration. Stripe may also process personal information for its own purposes, including fraud prevention, security and compliance with its legal and regulatory obligations. Stripe’s own privacy information is available on its website.
Where you expressly permit us to do so, we may also share the information covered by that permission with fellow delegates and/or artists for the purposes explained to you during the application or registration process.
We will not sell your personal information.
We may also disclose personal information where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Some of our service providers, including Stripe, may process personal information outside the UK.
Where this happens, we will ensure that any transfer is carried out in accordance with applicable UK data protection law and that appropriate safeguards are in place where required.

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including any legal or regulatory requirements.
Different information may be retained for different periods.
