Showcase Scotland 2027

From 20–24 January 2027, Showcase Scotland returns to Glasgow as part of Celtic Connections, bringing five days of performances, networking and industry activity.

The 2027 edition welcomes Asturias as our international partner. Alongside the Scottish artists featured across the festival during the Showcase Scotland dates, delegates will have access to performances by six artists from the region – which has long presented artists through the Celtic Connections programme, and which now joins us as international partner for the first time.

Showcase Scotland takes place within the live Celtic Connections programme, giving delegates the opportunity to experience performances alongside the festival’s regular audiences. With concerts taking place across Glasgow and around 60 artists typically featuring across the five days, the programme offers a broad snapshot of the music not only being presented at the festival, but being created and touring from Scotland today.

Alongside the evening concert programme, delegates attend a daytime schedule of networking receptions and afternoon showcases, hosted by key industry partners, providing further opportunities to discover artists and connect with colleagues from across the international music industry.
